THE FRIEND-MOON
We are so excited to celebrate with you all at our wedding in August! So much so that we want to extend the fun and would love for you all to join us for a friend-moon in the South of France in our favourite place, Beaulieu-sur-Mer
Details below:
SCHEDULE
17th - Welcome Drinks
18th - Wedding
19th - Recovery
20th - Fly to Nice and catch the train to Beaulieu-sur-Mer (and surrounding area of Cap-Ferrat).
Travel day. We recommend booking accommodation as its a very popular spot in summer.
21st - Chilled beach day with very loose plans to catch the train to Monaco for dinner at the outdoor food markets
22nd - 2pm Lunch at Anjuna Beach Club
Saturday we party again at Anjuna, aka the best beach club in the South of France. This is 100Euros per head to secure the booking, which is redeemable through drinks. We will organise this closer to the time. Please let us know if you would like to join.
23rd - Chill out/ Depart
FLIGHT DETAILS
There are only two direct flights leaving from Bordeaux to Nice on the 20th. Flights to Nice are quite cheap at the moment (around £45 one way), so we recommend booking them before they go up in price.
Bordeaux to Nice - EASYJET flight departing 7:50am, arriving at 9:20am
Bordeaux to Nice - EASYJET flight departing at 10:50pm, arriving at 12:10am
If you would like to leave/ arrive at a more civilised time, Sam and I are going to drive from Chateau Rigaud to Toulouse Airport (2.5 hour drive) and jump on the 3:50pm direct flight to Nice. We will be stopping at a winery for lunch on the way.
This means renting a car and collecting it from Bordeaux Airport and returning it to Toulouse Airport, a slighty more expensive option but good idea for those wanting a sleep in after the recovery.
Toulouse to Nice - EASYJET flight, departing at 3:50pm, arriving at 5:00pm
ACCOMODATION
We will be staying in Beaulieu-sur-Mer and some of our family will be in Cap-d’Ail. This entire area along the coast is super accessible by train. The train runs from Nice to Monaco and is very pram friendly. Renting cars is probably not necessary unless you are bringing kids and have lots of bags! If you can’t find a spot in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, the surrounding spots such as Cap Ferrat, Villefranche, Eze-sur-Mer and Cap-d'Ail are so beautiful.
Please note that Cap-d'Ail. is incredibly hilly, so not easily accessible.
